Humanitas San Pio X Hospital
Humanitas San Pio X in Milan, in operation for over 50 years, is renowned as one of the most prestigious hospitals in Lombardy. Part of the Humanitas Group since 2016, it offers outpatient, inpatient, day hospital and day surgery services. It is accredited by Italy's National Health Service and has 162 beds. In Italy, only a handful of facilities have the advanced technology required to conduct robot-assisted spine surgery, and this is the only one in Lombardy at the moment.

Recently established at Humanitas San Pio X, the Centre for Spinal Surgery and Robotics is a state-of-the-art facility that harnesses the skills of neurosurgeons and orthopaedists and is co-directed by Dr Giuseppe Sciarrone and Dr Giovanni Casero, specialists in each field, respectively.
Examinations, diagnostic testing and radiological imaging can be carried out at the Centre for Spinal Surgery and Robotics.
